Individual Therapy
Solace Space Counseling delivers individualized counseling services grounded in trauma-informed and evidence-based methodologies.
Individual sessions may focus on understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships, processing difficult experiences, or developing tools that support regulation and overall well-being.
Therapy at Solace Space Counseling is collaborative and paced with care. Each person’s goals and experiences are different, so sessions are tailored to support what feels most important to you.
What is somatic therapy? It’s incorporated into individual therapy sessions to recognize the connection between the mind and body. Stress, trauma, and different emotions are not only experienced mentally, but can also be felt through body tension, nervous system activation, or feelings of disconnection.
Somatic-informed approaches incorporate awareness of bodily sensations and nervous system responses alongside traditional talk therapy. This can help develop greater emotional regulation, improve understanding of how your body responds to stress, and build a stronger sense of internal safety.
This approach may include gentle awareness practices, grounding techniques, and exploration of how emotions and experiences show up in the body.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based protocol designed to help people process difficult or overwhelming experiences. When past experiences remain unresolved, they can affect how we think, feel, and respond in the present.
EMDR therapy helps the brain reprocess these experiences so they no longer feel as distressing or intrusive. During EMDR sessions, you will participate in guided bilateral stimulation via eye movements, tapping, or audio. Many people seek EMDR for concerns related to trauma, anxiety, or distressing memories.
To learn more about EMDR, schedule a consultation or visit the EMDR International Association’s website.
Group Counseling
Healing doesn’t have to happen alone. Group counseling offers a supportive space to connect with others who may share similar experiences, gain new perspectives, and build a sense of belonging. I have offered groups structured around specific themes like depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and disordered eating. Group counseling with me may include psychoeducation, discussion, coping skills training, and expressive arts activities. Reach out below if you are interested in learning about current and upcoming group offerings.
