LPC-Associate stands for Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. This is a licensed mental health professional who has completed a master’s degree in counseling and the required graduate training. LPC-Associates practice under the supervision of an LPC-Supervisor while completing additional post-graduate clinical hours required for independent licensure.

Solace Space Counseling operates on a private-pay basis and is not currently in-network with insurance providers. Some clients choose to use out-of-network benefits through their insurance plan.

Some insurance plans offer out-of-network (OON) benefits for mental health services. If you would like to pursue reimbursement, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance provider. Reimbursement from your insurance provider is not guaranteed and depends on your plan.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a receipt containing the services you received and other relevant information that your insurance provider needs for reimbursement. Because insurance policies vary, reimbursement cannot be guaranteed. You may wish to contact your insurance provider to ask about your OON mental health benefits before beginning therapy.

Please note, requesting a superbill for OON reimbursement requires your therapist to conduct a diagnostic assessment and provide a diagnosis.
